Bridget Hungerford, PMHNP

Bridget Hungerford is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 18 years of experience in mental health. Before pursuing her Master's in Nursing, Bridget worked as a community mental health social worker and as a nurse in emergency medicine and psychiatry. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals with ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, OCD, eating disorders, personality disorders, and substance use. Her experience includes crisis teams, residential substance use treatment, in-home therapy, crisis hotlines, and psychiatric hospitalization.

Transitioning to outpatient mental health has been a welcome change for Bridget, as she values patient autonomy and collaborative decision making. You deserve someone who will listen and create a game plan that works for you! Bridget also recognizes the importance of therapy and support, and networks with local therapists and clinics to connect patients with resources that complement medication management.

Bridget offers a variety of appointment times to fit busy schedules, including evenings and Saturdays.

On a personal note, Bridget enjoys spending time with her 7-year-old nephew, reading historical fiction, going on true crime and ghost tours, and getting crafty with ceramics, painting, and restoring old furniture.
